Metcalfe Constructions was engaged by Keystone Architects to construct a second retail store for St Vincent De Paul Hervey Bay. The project consisted of 600m2 of open display, 41m2 of outdoor display area, a link between the existing retail building and 400m2 of concrete car parking.
This project had its challenges working to zero boundary set backs, minimal access. Construction work was completed whilst the existing store continued trading throughout the building process.
There was an array of finishes used and applied to the works. Externally the use of concrete tilt up construction, shop front glazing and steel structured awnings provide a transformed and modern aesthetic appearance.
Internally the fit out comprises of central checkout, change rooms, new carpet tiling and exposed grid ceiling system throughout.
