Who we are

Established by Peter Metcalfe as a sole trader in 1978, the company has seen rapid expansion over the past 8 years, and has grown to become a diverse operator in the broader building sector, and the new generation - Peter’s sons Ben, Brad and Wade with skills that complement each other - is taking it to further heights.

Ben, Brad and Wade Metcalfe are respectively specialists in the building industry with a collective combined experienced of more than 40 years. Between them they undertake the managing of a variety of projects from feasibility, budgeting, estimating, contract administration through to supervision and practical completion.

Today, Metcalfe Constructions turnover for the 2013 financial year was $10.5 million dollars. We employ over 17 staff including 5 site supervisors, and have a dedicated apprentice program to ensure the continuation of a skilled workforce.

While the company’s primary focus has been in the Wide Bay Area, Metcalfe Constructions now has a permanent branch office in Brisbane.

Metcalfe Constructions has built its business on gaining the trust and confidence of clients by ensuring consistent delivery.

The large number of repeat clients and referrals evidences this.

The team pride themselves on the close working relationships built with clients, architects and consultants, with a focus on ensuring quality, innovation and value added methodology.
