The Hervey Bay Life Line renovation was an alteration, extension and rejuvenation to an existing office building. The project spanned 450m2 and took 18 weeks to complete.
Metcalfe Constructions were contracted to strip out and refurbish more than 50% of the existing building to suit the needs of the new tenant and bring the building’s access and facilities up to current compliant standards.
The new layout included a new reception, refurbishment of existing offices, new boardroom with a floating bamboo timber floor, administration workstation and store room.
Externally a new concrete driveway and car park were added to the rear of the building to meet the demand for much needed car parking.
The external façade was also given a much-needed facelift.
