Description

Eye’s Wide Bay is a private eye clinic servicing Hervey Bay. The centre provides general consultations as well as minor day surgery catering for up to fifty patients a day.

The medical centre is a one level with previsions made for a second level in the future. The facility includes a reception area and waiting rooms, consulting rooms, treatment rooms, clean and sterilizing rooms and staff room.

The facility utilised block work structure with external render and feature stone front façade. The surrounds of the building consist of twelve bay concrete car park and landscaping. Internally, careful consideration was given to the buildings service infrastructure due to the positioning of specialized medical equipment.

The project was constructed on a limited access site on a busy Road. Metcalfe Constructions site team managed the logistical challenges of the project to ensure on time delivery without compromising the project quality.
