Dr Sam Osedimilehin approached Metcalfe Constructions in Mid 2014 looking to establish a medical practice in the heart of Maryborough’s CBD.
The clients required a striking and practical response to their very specific operational needs to expand the medical services available to the growing community.
Metcalfe Constructions was awarded the contract to complete this new 450m2 medical centre renovation and fit out, including extensive internal partitioning, cabinetry, plumbing, and electrical and technical data services.
The project team was consistently challenged with the existing 1950s tyre and mechanical repair shop to make it into a building compliant with current building standards.
The new medical centre has seven consulting rooms, reception, manager’s office, nurse’s room, staff room and 2 bathrooms.
The Divine Medical Centre encompasses a range of health and well being specialties including pathology, allied health professionals and a total body mapping machine to scan for moles.
The centre operates seven days - Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm and weekends from 9am to 4pm.
