This architecturally designed steel structure with 20mm grey tint glass over roof is a centre point in the CBD hub in the town of Maryborough.
Purpose built for musical performances for the community’s local market day, the Shelter has become a welcome addition to the busy main street.
The construction was completed in a very fast time frame with works completed in a weekend. Two main streets were closed to allow Metcalfe Construction project team an area for construction transport and cranes for the lifting of the structure and its glass roof.
As can be seen from the images, the project has exceptional street presence and appeal.
Also included was the reinstatement and additional public seating around the new shelter.
