Peter Metcalfe
Managing Director
As managing director and founder, Peter oversees all operations and guides the direction of the company.
As a registered builder and carpenter and joiner, he has over 35 years experience in residential and commercial building. Peter is recognised for his vast experience in construction, his keen eye for detail and his unwavering commitment to the very highest levels of professionalism and integrity.
Peter continues to ensure Metcalfe Constructions uses this expertise to deliver a superior built product while still meeting financial expectations of each client.
Ben Metcalfe
Senior Project Manager
Ben started with the company as an apprentice 1994 and quickly moved through the company learning all aspects of the business. In 2008, Ben gained his builders registration.
His strong understanding of construction methods together with his helpful and co-operative manner has contributed to numerous successful and harmonious completions. Ben’s positive attitude ensures complete satisfaction and that the end result will be achieved. Ben also assists in the strategic direction of the business.
Ben currently holds a Low Rise Queensland Building Licence, and various other formal qualifications ranging from Carpentry and Joinery Trade Certificate, Passive Fire, Joint and Penetration Sealing License and Site Supervisor - Open License.
Wade Metcalfe
Project Manager ~ Brisbane
Wade has 18 years of experience in all aspects of construction encircling a variety of projects in residential, multi story conversions, corporate fit-outs, commercial construction and educational facilities.
His strong understanding of construction methods together with his proficiency in team management and attention to detail and managing projects from conception to occupancy, has contributed to numerous successful awards on projects he has managed.
Wade's primary responsibility is to supervise projects from inception to completion in the Brisbane area as well as develop and maintain relationships with key clients.
Wade currently is a trade qualified Carpenter and Joiner and has various other qualifications ranging from WH&S Asbestos Removal, MR Drivers License, First Aid Certificate and Site Supervisor - Open License.
Brad Metcalfe
Site Foreman | Supervisor
After proving himself as a licensed drainer, Brad return to Hervey Bay in 2003 and began his apprenticeship as a carpenter. In 2006, after graduating he was recognised for his leadership in the building industry and was nominated for Queensland’s Apprentice of the Year.
Brad has completed projects in all aspects of the construction industry over the past 8 years – from small domestic renovations to large commercial construction projects, he offers a vast and practical experience in residential and commercial construction, specialising in tilt panel and structural steel. Brad consistently exceeds the targets he sets for himself and his team, to the ultimate benefit of the company and its clients.
Brad currently is a trade qualified Carpenter and Joiner and has various other qualifications ranging from Licensed Rigger, Licensed Drainer, and Site Supervisor - Open License.
Kate Gallagher
Administration Manager | Accounts Officer
Kate is responsible for overseeing all financial and administrative aspects of the business, managing the office, accounts, pay roll and chasing up the subbies is all in a days work. Kate possesses exceptional communication skills and methodical administration practices.
Kate has 6 years experience in office administration in the building Industry.
